I am so excited about this Halloween season! Tommy is finally old enough to get all wrapped up in the anticipation of the holidays. He loves to ride around and see "Halloween Houses" that are decorated, which inspires him to make his own brand of Halloween decorations. For the next several weeks we are going to be posting tons of fun, slimy, and spooky science experiments to do with your kiddos to get them geared up for Halloween. These make great demos at parties, too :) In the meantime, here are some of our favorite spooky books to enjoy.
Noisy Spooky Book is a board book that is perfect for very young children. It has large tabs at the top that make it easy to turn the pages. The buttons on the side make all kinds of spooky sounds like witches cackling, ghosts howling, and monsters roaring.
Spooky Things to Make and Do is filled with tons of easy activities you can with your child including making a monster mask, painting an eerie sunset, and making a whole army of creepy creatures. Perfect to do one-on-one or at a Halloween party with friends! It also comes with over 300 glow-in-the-dark stickers that no kid can resist.
Usborne has a whole series of sticker dressing books that my kids L-O-V-E. This fun Spooky Sticker Dressing book is no exception. Dress up Count Dracula, an army of zombies, and Frankenstein to your heart's content!
