Bubble Snakes from Bubble Socks

For our science experiment this week we blew bubbles! Not just any bubbles, though - Bubble Snakes! They were more like Bubble Balls or Piles of Bubbles. Anyhow, our bubble blowing tools were very easy to make and we had tons and tons and tons and tons of fun using our lungs to blow bubbles.

What you need:
An old sock
A plastic bottle
Duct tape
Bubble solution

Simply cut out the bottom of the plastic bottle and pull the sock over it so it's tight. Duct tape the sock to the bottle. Then dip it into the bubble solution and blow! Be sure to talk about your lungs, breathing, and air, and you've got yourself a fun, educational science experiment.
NOTE: As illustrated in this video it's very important to blow out, not suck in when your mouth is on the bottle. A mouthful of bubbles is not very tasty, as Tommy can testify.
Thanks to Housing a Forest for the brilliant idea!
